Born on 19.02.1971.
In 1998, graduated from the Latvian Academy of Arts (mural painting workshop of Indulis Zariņš and Aleksejs Naumovs).
28 solo exhibitions since 1998 (including 14 in Germany and Austria). More than 70 group shows and projects in Latvia, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Estonia, France, Sweden, Belgium, South Korea, Russia, Poland and China.
Daugule’s work has been exhibited at the ARSENĀLS Exhibition Hall of the Latvian National Museum of Art, Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, Rīga Art Space, Ventspils Museum, Silesian Museum in Katowice (Poland), Central House of Artists, Moscow (Russia), Rydals Museum (Sweden) and Pärnu Museum (Estonia).
Major international creative scholarships: Federal Chancellery of Austria and KulturKontakt Austria grant to Vienna, Austria (1999, 2000), Stiftung Kulturfond scholarship to Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop, Germany (2001) and quartier 21 scholarship to Museumsquartier in Vienna, Austria (2010).
Work is held in private collections in Latvia, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Malta, Estonia, the United States, England and the Netherlands, as well as in public collections: Latvian National Museum of Art, Swedbank art collection, Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre collection and Luciano Benetton collection Imago Mundi.
Author of a book about artist Jānis Liepiņš (published by “Neputns” in 2015).
